Pine Bolete<\/b> is a popular and delicious wild mushroom. It is consumed fresh, most often dried, marinated, salted, or frozen. The fruiting bodies are massive and large. The cap grows up to 25 cm in diameter, round, elongated-round, reddish, reddish-brown, purplish-brown, sometimes with a violet hue. The stem is 5\u201315 cm long, sometimes even 6\u20139 cm thick, yellowish-brown, swollen in the middle.<\/p>\n

Cultivation Tips:<\/h3>\n

Planting should occur from mid-April to October. The ideal planting location for this mushroom should be among conifers, preferably pines. Young trees are preferred for optimal growth. It is recommended to use a universal substrate or compost with a high peat layer for planting.<\/p>\n

Cultivation and Care:<\/h3>\n

  1. Dig three holes around the tree trunk, each 30-40 cm in diameter and 15 cm deep. Position the holes 0.5-5 m from the tree trunk (approximately 10 times the trunk diameter).<\/li>\n
  2. Fill the holes halfway with prepared soil, then place one-third of the mycelium from each package into each hole. Fill the holes with soil to ground level and tamp it down firmly.<\/li>\n
  3. Water the planting area thoroughly (using approximately 1 bucket of water around each hole).<\/li>\n
  4. Cover with a layer of leaves, pine needles, straw, or branches (e.g., from the forest).<\/li>\n
  5. Promote mushroom development with a sugar solution (10 g sugar in 10 liters of water).<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. If there is insufficient precipitation during mushroom germination, it is recommended to regularly moisten the soil.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Germination:<\/h3>\n

    Under favorable conditions, mushrooms may appear in the first or second year after planting. The mycelium remains effective for 3-4 years.<\/p>\n

    Several to dozens of mushrooms can be harvested per tree annually.<\/p>\n

    Note:<\/b> Amateur cultivation of mycorrhizal (mycorrhiza \u2013 symbiosis of tree roots with fungi) wild mushrooms does not guarantee results, as mushroom growth significantly depends on weather conditions and various other factors. To cultivate them, it is necessary to create conditions as close as possible to natural ones and to use the mycelium according to the instructions.
