Brunonia Grafting and Tree Wound Wax (125g) – A natural “bandage” for your trees
Every cut and injury on tree bark is an open door for diseases. Brunonia grafting and tree wound wax is a classic and reliable tool that helps your fruit and ornamental trees recover quickly. It is made from refined natural resins, mimicking the tree’s own natural healing process.
This product is an ideal choice for organic gardeners, as it contains no synthetic fungicides and complies with EU organic regulations.
Why choose Brunonia wax?
-
Natural protective barrier: The wax forms a physical layer on the wound that prevents water ingress and wood rot, while preventing the wound from drying out excessively.
-
Weatherproof: Brunonia has excellent durability – it does not run under the hot sun or crack in the cold.
-
Plant strengthener: Acts as a supporter of the tree’s immune system, allowing the cut or graft site to heal faster (callus formation).
Instructions for use
For best results, use the wax in dry weather when the temperature is above -5°C.
-
Preparation: Mix the wax thoroughly before use. At room temperature, the wax has a pleasant creamy and honey-like consistency, which makes application easy.
-
Grafting: Apply the wax immediately after grafting to both the graft site and the cut surface of the rootstock to prevent the scion from drying out.
-
Wound treatment: If the tree has damage caused by disease (e.g., fungal pathogens), first clean the wound down to healthy wood. Then cover the cleaned area immediately with wax.
-
Application: Apply the wax evenly with a brush or spatula directly onto the wound.
