This 7.5 kg package of autumn garden fertilizer is ideally suited for a medium-sized home garden, where you wish to simultaneously invigorate your lawn, hedge plants, and fruit orchard. The product’s focus is on providing a rich supply of phosphorus and potassium (PK), which are fundamental for plant survival and health during the autumn and winter period.
Unlike spring nitrogen fertilizers, this autumn fertilizer does not force plants to grow new green mass. Instead, its high potassium content helps to remove excess water from tissues, thereby making unlignified branches and herbaceous stems strong and significantly more resistant to cold. The phosphorus component, meanwhile, supports underground activity – a strong and deep root system can awaken faster in spring and ensures better conditions for fruit trees to form a harvest. Regular autumn feeding significantly increases the entire garden’s resilience to fluctuating temperatures.
Instructions for use and cultivation: The optimal time for application is in August and September, while the soil is still warm. Apply the granules evenly to the soil according to the fertilization needs of your crop (1 heaping tbsp = approx. 20 g).
-
Fruit Trees (apple, pear, plum, cherry): 80 g/m².
-
Ornamental Trees, Hedge Plants, and Shrubs: 50–70 g/m².
-
Autumn Lawn Invigoration: 2–5 kg / 100 m².
-
When Establishing a Lawn by Seeding: 6–10 kg / 100 m².
-
Clematis and Roses: 50–60 g/m².
-
Blueberries and Raspberries (after harvest): 40 g/m².
Tips and recommendations:
-
Always fertilize plants before the ground freezes permanently, as roots cannot absorb beneficial elements from frozen soil at sub-zero temperatures.
-
When fertilizing hedges, sprinkle the granules evenly on both sides of the shrub row and rake them into the topsoil layer so that nutrients reach the active fibrous roots directly.
-
In the event of a drier autumn, it is strongly recommended to water the ground thoroughly after applying the fertilizer, which accelerates the effect of the granules.
