Garden fleece is used to accelerate harvest onset, provide protection against night frost, and guard against pests. It protects against night frosts, increases soil and air temperatures, reduces wind damage, and protects against birds and wildlife. The fleece features excellent light transmission, allowing 90% of light to reach the plants. It is very lightweight, providing gentle protection without crushing young shoots or new growth. The UV-stabilized material structure ensures long-term protection. The fleece is moisture-permeable and breathable. It is easy to install manually.
Instructions for Use
Garden fleece is a very lightweight fabric made of polypropylene fibers, used to cover carrots, rutabagas, onions, strawberries, early potatoes, and frost-sensitive crops. The fleece is laid directly over the growing vegetation and requires no supporting structures. Secure the edges primarily with soil, or alternatively with sandbags, water-filled hoses, rebar, etc. Install the fleece loosely, leaving sufficient space for plant growth. Account for the extra width needed to secure the edges. Remove the fleece from strawberries and cucumbers during the flowering period.
