Every modern, nature-conscious gardener knows that a lifeless, monotonous lawn is a thing of the past. If you want to bring true buzzing, life, and dazzling color play to your home garden, our professional-grade wildflower seed mix “Insect Paradise” was created just for you. This carefully composed 40-gram meadow flower seed mix allows you to establish a lush oasis of up to 40 m² that is both visually captivating and ecologically vital.
A true source of biodiversity in your own backyard This unique blend combines hardy annual and perennial favorites. It includes the elegant California poppy, delicate corncockle, traditional yarrow, and vibrant corn poppy. The result is a 50–80 cm tall sea of flowers that is an indispensable butterfly attractant and a rich food source for pollinators. By creating a bee-friendly garden, you take a major step toward supporting the local ecosystem. In addition to beneficial insects, garden birds and hedgehogs will also find shelter in your new flower meadow, helping to naturally and chemically-free control pesky pests in your garden.
How to establish a self-sustaining flower meadow? Creating this biodiverse paradise is simple. Sow the seeds in April or May in sun-rich, humus-rich, and well-drained soil. In spring, once the first shoots have emerged, lightly thin the plants so each flower receives enough light and space. The secret to true sustainability lies in proper autumn care: allow the flower meadow to bloom fully until late autumn. Before mowing the area, shake the ripe seed heads to scatter new seeds onto the soil – this is your guarantee that a lush, vibrant sea of flowers will delight you in the years to come.
Do a favor for nature and enjoy a garden bursting with life. Create your own personal ecosystem this spring!
