Mode of Action
- NeemAzal-T/S contains the active ingredient azadirachtin A, derived from the seed kernels of the tropical neem tree (Azadirachta indica A. Juss).
- The active ingredient is absorbed into the leaves and enters the pests when they suck or bite the plant leaves.
- Feeding and molting are inhibited in pest larvae, leading to death; in adults, feeding and fertility are inhibited, with lower mortality rates observed.
- If pest numbers are low and they are at the same developmental stage, one treatment per pest generation or season is usually sufficient.
- In case of persistent infestation (multiple generations), repeated treatment is necessary.
- NeemAzal is not harmful to most beneficial insects.
Instructions for Use
For pest control on plants: ornamental plants, ornamental trees, peas, vegetables, cabbage, potatoes, cucumbers, cauliflower, beans, fruit trees; in greenhouses: bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, houseplants.
Target pests: aphids, thrips, leaf miners, whiteflies, spider mites, apple ermine moths, cockchafers, Colorado potato beetles, winter moths, fruit moths, and other sucking and biting pests. Also suitable for pest control on houseplants.
