Plant cover fleece is utilized to accelerate crop initiation, provide protection against night frost, and guard against pests. The plant cover fleece protects against night frosts, elevates soil and air temperatures, mitigates wind damage, and safeguards against birds and wildlife. This plant cover fleece exhibits excellent light permeability, allowing 90% of light to reach the plants. It is exceptionally lightweight and gently protects young shoots and new growth without crushing them. The UV-stable material structure ensures long-term protection. The fleece is moisture-permeable and breathable. Installation of the fleece is easily performed manually.
Instructions for Use
Plant cover fleece is a very lightweight fabric made from polypropylene fibers, employed for covering carrots, rutabagas, onions, strawberries, early potatoes, and frost-sensitive crops. The plant cover fleece is laid directly over the growing vegetation and does not require any support structures. It is primarily secured at the edges with soil, but also with sandbags, water-filled hoses, rebar, or similar items. The plant cover fleece must be installed loosely, allowing sufficient space for plant growth. The necessary margin for securing the edges must also be considered. The plant cover fleece should be removed from strawberries and cucumbers during their flowering period.
