The large-capacity rat and mouse bait station is designed for effective and safe rodent control in situations requiring larger quantities of poison or bulkier mechanical rat traps. This robust, lockable station is ideal for production facilities, warehouses, barns, and households with high pest activity. The enclosed design of the bait box ensures that children and pets cannot access hazardous control agents, while providing rodents with a secure feeding spot.
The weatherproof material protects the preparations or traps placed inside the box from rain and moisture, extending the bait’s effectiveness and attractiveness outdoors. The bait station can be secured to permanent fixtures, preventing it from being dislodged by animals or strong winds. Each station includes a security key.
Usage and Application Instructions:
-
To open, use the included security key: unlock and remove the key.
-
Open the lid. If you wish to secure the bait station, fasten it through the holes in the bottom/sides of the box, for example, to a fence or post.
-
Place the station in an area of rodent activity, preferably along a wall or in a secluded spot.
-
When using control bait: impale poison blocks onto the metal rod inside the box or place paste into the designated compartment.
-
When using traps: remove the metal rod and bait tray from the box and place a set mechanical trap in the center.
-
Close the station by pressing the lid down until the lock engages with a click.Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
Tips and recommendations:
-
For larger rodent problems, use multiple bait stations, placing them around the exterior perimeter of buildings at intervals of approximately 5–10 meters.
-
Keep the bait station key in a safe place and out of reach of children, as the station is tamper-resistant and can only be opened with its special tool.
-
While using poison, try to remove other easily accessible food sources (loose bird food, compost) from the yard and premises to direct rodents more quickly to the bait box.
