A natural “bandage” for the trees and shrubs in your home garden.
Every cut or bark injury presents an open door for diseases and fungi to enter the tree. Arbosan Bio wound dressing (100g) is an indispensable aid for pruning fruit trees in spring, grafting, or treating storm damage.
This biological product forms an elastic and breathable layer over the wound. Unlike old oil paints or unsuitable remedies, Arbosan Bio allows the wound to heal naturally while keeping moisture and decay-causing agents at bay.
When to use Arbosan Bio?
-
After pruning: Cover all larger cuts (over 2 cm in diameter) to prevent the wood from drying out and cracking.
-
For grafting: Functions as an excellent grafting wax, keeping the scion and rootstock firmly in contact and protected.
-
For mechanical injuries: If rabbits, deer, or a lawn trimmer have damaged the tree bark, the dressing helps save the tree from further decline.
Product Benefits
-
Environmentally friendly: Safe for both plants and gardeners.
-
Durable: The dressing does not run off in warmer weather nor crack in the cold.
-
Convenient packaging: The 100g tube is ideal for home gardens – it is easy to hold and dispense directly to the required spot (or use a spatula).
Instructions for Use
-
Clean the wound area of loose bark and sawdust. If necessary, smooth the cut edges with a sharp knife.
-
Apply the dressing in an even layer (approximately 2–3 mm) directly to the wound and slightly over the wound edges.
-
The dressing dries and forms a protective film in about 1 hour (depending on weather conditions).
-
Arbosan Bio can be used year-round, but avoid application during rain or freezing temperatures.
