‘Ranomi’ is a very early to early variety, particularly well-suited for pre-sprouting. Tubers do not disintegrate when boiled, featuring medium dry matter content and excellent flavor.
Resistant to nematodes (Ro1/Ro4) and potato wart (D1), good resistance to common scab, susceptible to late blight.
Most soils are suitable for cultivation.
Apply nitrogen fertilizer preferably in two stages, with the second application immediately after tuber formation.
Application rate: Tuber spacing (fraction 35/55) during planting is approximately 30 cm (45,000 plants/ha).
Sprouting: May be planted directly from storage without pre-warming; breaking sprouts more than once may cause a decrease in yield.
Resistance to mechanical damage during harvesting: After foliage destruction, wait approximately 2 weeks before harvesting to allow the skin to set.
Dormancy period: Short, suitable for short-term storage.
Certified seed potatoes.
