A natural plant extract for pest control. NeemAzal-T/S, a plant extract derived from the kernels of tropical neem tree seeds, is also suitable for pest control in organic farming.
NeemAzal is a plant extract obtained from the kernels of tropical neem tree seeds, used for the control of aphids, thrips, leaf miners, whiteflies, spider mites, apple ermine moths, cockchafers, Colorado potato beetles, winter moths, grain moths, and other sucking and chewing pests.
Action
NeemAzal-T/S contains azadirachtin A, an active ingredient derived from the seed kernels of the tropical neem tree (Azadirachta indica A. Juss). The active ingredient is absorbed into the leaves and enters pests when they suck or chew on plant leaves.
In pest larvae, feeding and molting are inhibited, leading to death. In adults, feeding and reproduction are inhibited, and mortality occurs to a lesser extent. If pest infestation is low and pests are in the same developmental stage, one treatment per pest generation or season is usually sufficient. In cases of persistent damage (multiple generations), repeated treatment is necessary. NeemAzal is not harmful to most beneficial insects.
