This 10-piece set of solar-powered LED garden lights offers a practical and energy-efficient solution for illuminating your garden, patio, flower beds, or walkways. Each 37 cm long light is equipped with an autonomous solar panel and a 100 mAh (1.2 V) battery, eliminating the need for cumbersome cabling and additional electricity costs. The system operates entirely on solar energy.
The built-in dusk sensor ensures that the warm white lights automatically switch on as evening darkness falls. A fully charged battery can provide illumination for up to 8 hours. The lights have an IP44 moisture resistance rating, ensuring durability against rain, dew, and humidity. The simple ground spike design allows for installation or repositioning of the lights in mere seconds, making garden design quick and convenient.
Usage and Installation Guide:
-
Before initial installation, locate the mechanical switch on the lamp body and set it to the “ON” position.
-
Attach the included 12 cm ground spike to the bottom of the lamp.
-
Choose a location in the garden that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. Avoid areas under dense tree canopies or shaded wall edges, as limited sunlight will significantly shorten the lamp’s operating time at night.
-
Carefully but firmly push the light’s spike into soft soil, a lawn, or a spacious plant pot.
-
Maintain a distance of approximately 1.5 meters between lamps to prevent mutual interference of dusk sensors and excessive light overlap.
Tips and recommendations:
-
Install the lamps away from other strong light sources (e.g., streetlights or motion-sensor wall lights). Excessive external light can trick the lamp’s dusk sensor, potentially preventing it from turning on in the dark.
-
To ensure optimal charging performance, periodically wipe accumulated dust, dirt, or fallen leaves from the solar panels using a soft, damp cloth.
-
To extend battery life and prevent damage to plastic parts due to Estonia’s harsh sub-zero temperatures and heavy snow, it is recommended to remove the lamps from the ground during winter months, set the switches to the “OFF” position, and store them in a dry indoor space.
