BIOHUMUS & SOIL water-retaining granules (also known as hydrogel or water crystals) are an effective solution for improving plant water supply and reducing daily watering needs. This is a special potassium polyacrylate-based absorbent capable of absorbing large quantities of water and liquid nutrients. During dry weather or irregular watering, the swollen granules gradually release the collected moisture directly to the plant roots.
This product is an especially practical aid for hanging baskets for summer flowers, balcony boxes, indoor plant pots, or sandy soils that would otherwise dry out quickly. One 30-gram package is sufficient to enrich approximately 10 liters of substrate. The granules help prevent unexpected soil desiccation, improve soil aeration, and prevent valuable nutrients from leaching deeper into the ground.
Usage and Cultivation Instructions:

Preparation: Pour the granules into clean water or a diluted nutrient solution. The dosage is 30 g of product per 5 liters of water. Wait until the crystals have absorbed the water and fully expanded.

Mixing: Mix the resulting gel-like mass evenly with the potting soil or substrate. When adding dry, the application rate is 1–3 grams of granules per 1 liter of soil.

Planting: Plant the plants in the usual manner and water the soil additionally after planting to ensure good root contact with the moist substrate.

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

Always mix the gel thoroughly into the soil rather than leaving it on the surface of the pot – exposed to sun and wind, the gel dries out too quickly and loses its effectiveness.

Store opened and unused dry granules in a tightly sealed package, protected from moisture and direct sunlight (at +5 to +25°C). When stored under the correct conditions, the product has an unlimited shelf life.
