Unlike most perennials and fruit trees, which require completely nitrogen-free fertilizer in autumn, lawn plants need a small amount of nitrogen (N) before their dormant period. This specially balanced low nitrogen level does not force the lawn to grow new green mass, but rather helps the roots accumulate necessary nutrient reserves for winter.
Additionally, the fertilizer contains phosphorus (P) and potassium (K), which are vital for lawns.
