Geotextile 1×10 m, 10 m², 100 g/m² gray
- Geotextile is a specially developed lightweight ground cover material for use in gardening and landscaping.
- The polypropylene material is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and compounds found in the soil.
- The fabric prevents weed growth and accelerates the rooting of young plants by keeping the soil moist and warm.
- Geotextile can also be used to separate different soil layers, for example, between drainage and substrate in a flowerbed.
- In a planting area covered with geotextile, the soil remains fluffier than in a bed covered with landscape fabric or geotextile.
- The rough surface of the geotextile hinders the activity of snails and slugs among the plants.
- Depending on the place of use, it lasts 5-6 years.
Instructions for use
- The fabric is spread on prepared soil and planting holes are cut with a sharp knife; the edges are secured with either soil or special fixing pegs.
- In landscaping, the area around plants can be covered with bark mulch or decorative gravel.
